Family

About two weeks ago, my sister and I went to the airport to pick up our my nephew, Paul. He came to VA to be reunited with, and do a "10 Year Reunion" gig with his band. He was only here for four days, but most of that time was spent with his band practicing for their big show that Friday night.. Whenever he wasn't busy practicing, we would try and seize the opportunity and and get together with him. I have to say, four days was NOT ENOUGH TIME to spend with Paul. He is such a WONDERFUL young man with the biggest smile and a sense of humor to match! He has a heart of gold.

One of the things Paul really wanted to do while here was go to East Wok, our local Chinese buffet. I promised him that we would take him there before he went home. And as you can see by the picture, he got his wish! :> )

Thank you, Paul, for taking time out of your busy schedule while you were here to visit with your family. We LOVED seeing you, even though it was for such a short time. It's a good thing you did or you would have been in SO MUCH TROUBLE! lol

I love you bunches and can't wait until we get to Florida to visit with you guys!!

  3. Laura,

Time spent with family that you don't see very often is sometimes the very best gift you can get.

Hope you stop by as I am hosting weekly giveaways now on my blog.
