Praying For My Skippy Man

Dear Sweet Lord ~ Please put your hedge of protection around My Skippy man and his co-worker, as they will be leaving for FRANCE today. I pray they will have an AMAZING time there and that You will use them both in a special way to bring glory and honor to You. I thank You for the chance for the two of them to be able to spend time together and I ask that You strengthen their work relationship. I also pray for a peace and calmness for the family of Skippy's co-worker, Lord, as I know that only You can.

I also ask, Father, that You give Kiddo and I a special time together of our own as well, give us peace and a calmness of body and soul while Skippy is away. I pray for a time of bonding for us, allowing our own relationship to strengthen. Please allow us to continue to keep our home running smoothly, and that we are able to complete all the tasks that are set before us.

I know that You are here, leading us every step of the way. I thank You and praise You for all that You have done, are doing, and continue to do in our lives. In Your precious name I pray these things....Amen!

CrAzY WeAtHeR

Greetings and salutation from the farm in the holler!  Things here have been busy to say the least, but the end is in sight.  Not too many boxes left to unpack here and just a little more work at the old house and we will be able to get on with our "new normal!  I have been having crafting and sewing withdrawal.  I found my embroidery machine but am still on the look out for my Singer sewing machine.

The animals are adjusting nicely and Kiddo isn't doing too bad with it either.  We finally have internet but no t.v. or phone.  We will stick with Netflix as it is still the least expensive and will probably go with Skype through our internet as our home phone.  We are not willing to pay the prices for many conveniences anymore.  We have more important things we could be saving that money for.
The other morning we woke up to over 2 inches of snow, giving us this beautiful view out our kitchen window. But only hours after we awoke..........
The snow was gone and it was a GLORIOUS DAY indeed!

WOO HOO!

Tomorrow morning, we will be getting our own internet. A neighbor has been graciously letting us use their Wi-fi, but the signal is very weak so it is hit or miss when I can get on-line. I have tried to get on blogger to post, but for some reason, this seems to be the hardest site to access.

We are enjoying a beautiful snowfall that came in last night, leaving us a little over 2 inches.  Do you get snow last night too?

I hope you are all doing well

Undivided

(PLEASE PAUSE PLAYLIST BEFORE VIEWING VIDEO ~
THANK YOU!)

"Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.  Serve the LORD with gladness: come before His presence with singing!"
Psalm 100:1-2

A few months ago I had the privilege of filling in for our pastor and participating in a Hymn Sing at Boyce Baptist Church here in VA, along with two very precious friends of mine, Angela Goebel and Gena Mitchell.  What an honor it was to be able to sing praises to our Heavenly Father with these two very talented ladies.

I hope this song will bless you as much as it has me!

Angela Goebel                                   Myself                                    Gena Mitchell

UNDIVIDED
We may worship different ways
We may praise Him and yet spend all of our days
Living life divided
But when we seek Him with open hearts
He removes the walls we built that keep us apart
We trust Him to unite us

Chorus:
In our hearts, we're undivided
Worshiping one Saviour, one Lord
In our hearts, we're undivided
Bound by His spirit forevermore
Undivided

It doesn't matter if we agree
All He asks is that we serve Him faithfully
And love as He first loved us
He made us in His image
And in His eyes, we are all the same
And though out methods they may be different
Jesus is the bond that will remain

Ms. Laura's New Adventures

Hi, my name is Sitka! I am the Alaskan Malamute in the right side of the picture above. I am one of Ms. Laura's furry friends. I live in Richmond, Virginia. I am a therapy dog and I also have my own blog, All God's Creatures.  I am guest posting for Ms. Laura, today! Ms. Laura, Mr. Skippy Man, Kiddo, the little fur babies, and many feather friends have set out on a special new adventure with GOD. They moved to a quaint cottage nestled in a hollow just below the mountain where this picture of my mom, furry brother, and I was taken in Shenandoah National Park. Their move was successful, however the internet connection is yet to be established. Ms. Laura and her family deeply appreciate your continued prayers as they continue to seek GOD's guidance and direction. I am sending my human mom and dad to visit Ms. Laura, tomorrow. I hear GOD has blessed them with a thin blanket of snow in their corner of the world. Ms. Laura loves snow and so do I. We have both secretly been praying for snow. Oooops, I guess I told a little secret about Ms. Laura. Well, that's what she gets for letting a furry friend guest post. Seriously, prayer is a good thing. If it were not for prayer I would not even know Ms. Laura, but that's her story to tell.  Woofs and Wags, Sitka
