Spring Rain

The weather here has been beautiful these past few days and we have been  mowing the lawn and doing some yard work, while trying to plan and get things ready for the vegetable garden.  However, today it has been raining steadily, and for that, I am  thankful, as we have really needed it.

How is the weather where you are?  Are you enjoying the sunshine and the warmth of spring?  Is it cool and rainy?  Or are you still getting snow like some of our friends?

Whatever the weather, I hope that you are enjoying it!

A Sad Day On The Farm

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our precious Bethany. She was a sweetheart and will be greatly missed!

The Perfect Way To Start Your Day

There is no better way to start my day than to sit down and relax with a hot cup of coffee, some Praise & Worship music, and The Word Of God!!
How do YOU start your day?

PRAISE THE LORD And A Beautiful Day

I am sorry it took me a couple of days to get back to you regarding Kiddo.  I wound up having a nasty fight with the pollen outside and have been coughing my head off, sneezing, and walking around with tissues hanging out of my nose!  EEEWWW!!!  I know....you really didn't need to know that, did you?   lol
Well, I took Kiddo to see the doctor the other day and at first she thought it was a strep rash until she looked at it more closely.  She said it was a rash of unknown origin and there is nothing she can do for it unless it starts to itch, but that is is NOT contagious and is NOT serious, but it will probably take awhile before it goes away completely.   PRAISE THE LORD that's all it is!  WOO HOO!

Today has been an absolutely BEAUTIFUL DAY here on the farm -  I mowed the grass........
washed and hung out the clothes......if you
look in the back right corner of the
deck, you can see that I am putting
my homemade clothesline to good use.
There is another branch that hangs across the
opening by the stairs behind me that I use to hang
them on as well.....
 I also washed the sheets.....
enjoyed the purple petunias My Skippy Man bought for me yesterday
while I tried to decide where to plant them......
and the ladies had some fun outside enjoying all the sunshine
and the cool temps.....
and someone decided to play hide and seek.
Can you find her?

A Rash, A Rake, And A Wagon

Kiddo had been sick for
a couple of days with the chills, body aches, and a sore throat.  By Friday evening, he was feeling much better.  We were able to attend the "HomeLife Cafe" on Saturday and it was AMAZING!  Thank you, Father, for the wonderful revival team from Life Action that is visiting our church.....we have been so blessed by all of them!

Well, we got up Sunday morning to get ready for church and I noticed a rash on Kiddo's neck and chest.  I have tried an antihistamine and some other things, but it is still there.  We finally were able to get a doctor's appointment for tomorrow at 2:30.  Please pray that our doctor can figure out what is wrong.

The trees are so beautiful blooming, it makes me want to plant my little heart out, but that will come later.  Kiddo and I have been keeping busy with school work and getting things done around the house and yard.  Today I raked up along the side of the house by the deck and Kiddo helped me get rid of all the leaves, broken branches, and rocks that were all over the place. He was such a big help and there was not one complaint.....not even when I rolled the wagon over his foot, he just chuckled and smiled.....what a guy!  I wanted to make sure that was all taken care of before we started to mow.  The last thing I want is a rock or branch to come flying out from under the tractor and shatter a window......that so would NOT be good!

I pray you all had a WONDERFUL WEEKEND!
