Deeper Still Conference

AMAZING! The Deeper Still Conference was AMAZING! God was so present and touched the lives of all who attended.

Here is a little bit about these three AMAZING women!

Kay Arthur: Kay is an international Bible teacher and four-time Gold Medallion aware-winning author of over 100 books. She founded Precept Ministries International with her husband Jack in 1970 with the vision to establish people in God's Word. Kay has the unique ability to reach people in an exciting, effective way — challenging them to change and equipping them to advance the kingdom of God. Her authority comes from the Word of God, which she continues to study zealously; her compassion stems from a life that has been touched by deep tragedy as well as great triumph; and her practicality springs from an openness of character.

Beth Moore: Beth first realized God was seizing her future for full-time ministry at the age of 18. She conceded all rights to the Lord she had loved since childhood. Being confident of God's calling on her life, she finished her degree at Southwest Texas State University where she met and married Keith Moore. In the years that followed, Beth served the Lord by teaching Mothers’ Day Out, speaking at women’s luncheons, retreats, and seminars, leading Christian aerobics, and teaching Sunday School. Beth speaks at conferences all over the United States and enjoys getting to serve women of every age and denomination. She is passionate about women knowing and loving the Word of God.

Priscilla is an inspiring Bible teacher, popular author, and internationally acclaimed speaker. Her desire is to see women everywhere better understand who they are in Christ by hearing the enduring truth of Scripture. For over a decade she has shared the deep truths of Scripture in a simple, straightforward way that assists the listener in applying truth to her life. Priscilla is married to her best friend Jerry. Together they have founded Going Beyond Ministries, where the message of God’s desire for a passionate love relationship with His children is boldly proclaimed. Jerry and Priscilla live in Dallas and take seriously their main role of parents to their two young sons.

We were so privileged to have three of the best Bible teachers around, together under one roof. Kay Arthur, Priscilla Shirer, and Beth Moore. Each one brought so many wonderful things to the conference to share with us.

Kay Arthur taught on the book of Hebrews and some of the tragedies that have happend in her life, but that through it all, she gave God the praise and the Glory!

Priscilla taught on Ephesians 3:20-21: "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (going beyond beyond), according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen."

Beth Moore, had come with her message all planned out, but while in prayer before the conference, God laid upon her heart a completely different direction to go. She spoke of being in love with Christ and making time for Him, including Him in all we do, no matter what. I think Beth's message hit me the most as spending quiet time with the Lord always seems to be the hardest thing to do and the one that suffers the most from our busy schedules. I so want that intimate relationship with Him. Setting aside time for Jesus is back at the top of my priority list, just as it should be!

If you get the opportunity to attend one of their conferences, DON'T MISS OUT! You are in for a blessing BEYOND BEYOND your wildest imagination!

  2. I wondered if that might be the conference you were headed to. I have never been able to go, but our ladies' Bible study did Annointed, Transformed, Redeemed which has the video lessons from a Deeper Still...it was great. We are going to a Living Proof Live in November to see Beth and can't wait. Glad you got to go to Deeper Still and be blessed by the Word.
