Blessings

Blessings come in many different forms...

They are in the laughter with friends...
...in the smile of a stranger
...in the giggles of a child
...in the message of friends from afar
...in the voices of your family from home
...in the words of encouragements

A blessing can be....
...time spent out in nature
...an hour in the couch watching a favorite film with that special someone
...being able to spend the day painting your friend's living room
...a chance to clean your house
...a KFC fried chicken dinner (that's what I call a HAPPY MEAL! lol)
...spare time for fb, blogging, playing Words With Friends, and more
...a moment to sit with a hot cup of coffee and read your favorite book or magazine

Believe it or not, having dirty dishes and laundry is a blessing.....it means that you have food to eat and clothes to wear!

Take time to be thankful for the little things in your life. No matter how small or insignificant they may seem, they are still BLESSINGS!

  2. You are so true.
I use to complain when I would be busy doing something and one at a time our dogs would want out to do their business. But one day I looked at it as a blessing because each of them are a different blessing to us in their own way. Punkin- because we almost lost her a yr. ago but after $2000 of surgery's she is fine. And at 9yrs old she's prancing around and keeping the other 2 in line.
Mr. Man- wasn't wanted by the people we rescued him from when we got him only because the people couldn't potty train him. I put him in a diaper at night and after a week he was fine. He's been such a joy. He's our bouncer. Jumps so high when he is happy. That and his little stubby tail wagging all the time. He is never sad.
Aquila- the baby of them all is so comical. He has his favorite chair in the kitchen and sits in it when you are making eggs and whines until they are done and you give him a bite.
I no longer care that they each want out at different times. I happily let them out with joy since they give me so much back. Life just wouldn't be the same without them.
