HAPPY 28th ANNIVERSARY To My Skippy Man: I am so THANKFUL and truly BLESSED for my husband and best friend because....
*He works hard to provide for us every day.
*I can trust him with my whole heart to make any decisions for our family.
*He is my protector.
*He tries hard to understand me even when I am being difficult.
*He is incredibly forgiving.
*He has stayed married to me for 28 years (HE MUST TRULY BE CRAZY!!)
*He works hard to allow me to be home with Kiddo and be there to welcome him home each day *He makes me laugh with his warped sense of humor
*He is happy wearing used clothing
*I am thankful for your love of God and family.
*For holding me when I cry, even if it's over something as crazy as fabric softener
*For your friendship, understanding, and forgiveness
*He enjoys my cooking.
*He chose me to be his wife.
*He thinks I am the most beautiful woman in the world even when I have no make-up on and sloppy hair.
*He is by no means perfect, but I know he is perfectly God's plan for me and I am thankful for that. *God made us for each other and knit our hearts together.
*He is what God made Him and I love him just the way he is! Thank you for putting up with me all these years!

I am very thankful for sleep and the way it restores my body, mind and soul. I’m also grateful for the incredible sweetness of a sleeping child.

I am thankful for clothing that keeps me warm during these cool fall days and the snow that might be coming on Wednesday. I’m especially thankful for my cozy sweatshirt with the hood!

I am thankful for Freedom of Religion and being able to worship wherever and whenever I want is something many people don’t ever experience.

I am thankful for my sight and hearing. What a blessing it is to be able to see my children and granddaughter and hear them laugh.

I am thankful for God, our heavenly Father.   I am thankful for his unconditional love and abundant grace and blessings he has bestowed upon me. I am rich beyond my wildest dreams!!!!

I am thankful for my siblings. Although we are miles apart, scattered from NY to FL to TX to OR, we are never far from each others hearts. Thank you for being there for me. I Love and Miss you all!

I am thankful for my church family.  They are the most caring, loving, friendly, compassionate group of the BEST people in the world. We are very lucky to be a part of the family of God and I look forward to spending eternity with each and every one of them!

Today I am thankful for............
*Coffee
*Caffeine

*Coffee Mug
*Coffee Grinder
*Coffee Filters
*Coffee beans but especially the farmer in Columbia who got up this morning to harvest some beans for me.
*Cold Water-everybody knows you need that to make the best coffee.
*The smell of perking coffee over a fire.
*Flavored coffee creamers.
*ALL my coffee drinking buddies friends.....you know who you are!   ;)

THANKFULNESS DAY 13

I am thankful for and LOOOOOVE my crockpot. I love that I can throw everything in, turn it on and let it go. And oh, how the house smells wonderful all day long. On days I use my crockpot.......no tart warmers are necessary!

Grocery shopping day is definitely a crockpot day.  All I have in there is a large bag of ravioli, two three cheese Italian sausages, some Italian seasoned butter, some salt & pepper and a little bit less than 1/4 cup of water. You can add whatever else you'd like to it, maybe some veggies?  I put it on low and just let it go approximately 2-3 hours.

Do you use a crockpot?  On a real busy day, what is your favorite "goto" meal?

 I am so thankful for fuzzy slippers that keep me feet cozy warm. They have been FREEZING all day, but not any more!!

Yesterday evening I had a photo session at a park/pool near our home. During the session I lost my phone in the woods and then on my way home, I hit a deer. 

I am so very thankful that the only damage was a broken running light/turn signal.  I am also happy to report that both the driver and the deer, both survived!

GOD IS SO GOOD!!!

PS:  I found my phone! :D

THANKFULNESS DAY 9

I am thankful for the beautiful magic hour. That time in the evening when the sun starts to slip past the horizon and cast its golden hues all about. It’s my very favorite time of day!

THANKFULNESS DAYS 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8

THANKFULNESS DAY 4: I am thankful for my son and his laughter, hugs and his unconditional love. He has such a kind and gentle spirit and loves everyone he meets. I don't know what I would do without him!

THANKFULNESS DAY 5: I am thankful for our cat Rascal and that he is sitting on my feet keeping them warm!

THANKFULNESS DAY 6: I am thankful that I get to spend time with my sister and her children today. It's going to be a great day!

 THANKFULNESS DAY 7: I am thankful for COFFEE.....enough said!

THANKFULNESS DAY 8: I am so thankful to have had a full night of uninterrupted, side of the mouth drooling sleep. I can't remember the last time that happened!

THANKFULNESS DAY 3

THANKFULNESS DAY 3: I am thankful for those times when I can slip off by myself and drive down a few back country roads taking pictures, capturing the glorious colors of each season. It is a time when I can have a heart-to-heart with God, yell and scream and shake my fist or just be in awe of His majesty and just worship with Him - no interruptions. And having a 7-11 Skinny French vanilla coffee and Praise & Worship music playing makes it even that much nicer!

THANKFULNESS DAY 2: Today I am thankful and AMAZED at the mercy and grace my sweet Lord gives out to me each and every day, with no strings attached!!!
