Today Skippy and I helped our youngest daughter decorate her home for Christmas. This is my favorite of her 3 trees. Now I have to go home and put up our trees and watch The Hallmark Channel!

FIrst Camping Trip For The Grandblessings

Skippy and I were blessed to have taken our grandblessings on their first camping trip. We had such a great time. 

We are already looking forward to our next one trip! 💓

On The Road Again

Rona is cleaned, packed and ready to roll for our first trip with just the grandblessings. They are all excited and can't wait to hit the road!

 

Sand Play and Wood Splitting

All three of our grandchildren were over yesterday and they were happy as clams to play in/with the sand in the driveway. They had so much fun they asked to come back on Friday and of course Nana said YES!! While the kids played the adults split and stacked wood, a must when your only source of heat for the winter is a wood stove.

I also was able to can another 5 pint jars of relish thanks to our very giving cucumber plants!

Kiddo Love

Kiddo has been taking really good care of me since I got sick on Thursday. He's been making me breakfast and lunch, keeping the fire going and taking care of the animals until Skippy gets home.

This morning I asked him to pick out and put a movie on for me. He knows me so well.....

Thank you for being there for me, Kiddo. I love you so much!🥰

Today was a busy day.  I went to a Mary & Martha party given by two of my dear friends, picked up Skippy up at Bean's house after a week of grandpuppy sitting and then to Lowe's to look for flooring, as well as a few other things. We enjoyed the day and took advantage of this GORGEOUS weather and dined alfresco at CHECKER'S.   

I am so thankful to have been able to spend most of today with these two amazing men.
